Jamie & Jill Grisham
Jamie Grisham is the Lead Pastor at Compassion Church in Dickson, TN, a Church Growth Consultant, Inspirational Speaker and Church Leadership Coach. Jamie took his first Church in Southeast Missouri in September 2005. He contributes quite a bit of his Leadership Growth through that two year journey. From making the right decisions in the wrong way to learning how to lead a staff, it was quite an experience (a good one). He moved his family from Southeast Missouri to Compassion Church in Middle Tennessee in December of 2007. Jamie likes to say, “The rest is history”. He took a volunteer position and began to serve the vision of Compassion Church. He was later hired on staff and served in multiple roles since, such as, Connections Director, Campus Pastor, Teaching Pastor, CFO and now Lead Pastor. Jamie is the husband of Jill and Father to Kaley, Abby and River. Family is everything to the Grisham’s. They enjoy time spent together, family trips and nights at home just hanging out. Jamie and Jill have been married for over 20 years and have built a great life together. Meeting in grade school, riding bikes together, being high school sweethearts and then eventually getting married in 2002 and having three beautiful children has been a journey that they both love to talk about. Today they both serve side by side in ministry. They are emerging leaders in a non-traditional setting whose heart is to win the lost at any cost. They both have a passion for people and their surrounding community. If you speak to either of them, no matter where they are in ministry, you will probably hear them say “The best is yet to come''. Jamie and Jill are committed to the call of God on their lives in Pastoring the Dickson County community and surrounding areas to coaching, mentoring, developing and training the leaders that they come into contact with. When you meet either of them you will find that they are just normal people that God has chosen to use in this thing we call “ministry”.
VISION
Jamie’s Vision for doing what he does is to see lives transformed through encounters with the Love of Jesus. It’s that simple. What does that have to do with Leadership Development, Consulting, Coaching or Mentoring? Everything. We must first be transformed ourselves to see the biggest impact in our leadership endeavors. We do that through continual encounters with the Love of Jesus. Jamie brings a balance to the table of Practical Leadership and Spiritual Leadership. He calls this the “Key to Lasting Leadership Success”
